Did you know that our local police forces respond to an average of 10 calls per month for attempts or threats of suicide?

WNZR joins the Knox County Suicide Prevention Coalition at their 7th annual 5K Walk/Run.
Join the Big Blue Crew on the Kokosing Gap Trail at the Kenyon Campus railroad station entrance. Registration is from 8:15 a.m. to 8:45 a.m., the walk/run begins at 9 a.m. WNZR will broadcast from 8:30am – 11:30am.

The Survivor of Suicide Memory Dinner, Thursday, 9/14 at 5:30pm. The dinner will be held at the Knox County Career Center River Room. The dinner is free, but a registration is required. Call 740-397-3088.
The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) offers educational programs and support groups to help families and individuals cope with mental illness. The Family to Family Education Program is a 12 week series that is offered twice a year. It is free and open to family members, loved ones or other involved in the care of someone diagnosed with a mental illness. The next class starts on Monday, September 11th at 6 p.m. and will run through November 27th. Registration is required, call 740-397-3088.
