Congratulations to our “Take Dad to Dinner” winners!!
Don’t forget to honor Dad this Sunday. It’s Father’s Day!
WNZR wants to congratulate our 4 winners in the “Take Dad to Dinner” contest.
Terry Lanzer of Mount Vernon. Terry’s daughter Abigail nominated him. She says that she loves her Dad because he is very special. He makes her laugh and she has fun with him. Abigail wants to take her Dad out to dinner because he would be surprised.
Paul Kanagy of Bellville. Paul’s children, Kaity, Charlie and Joy nominated him. The kids want to take their Dad to dinner because they want to do something special just for him. They think that their Dad is the best Dad in the world! They love him very much. They also say that he really likes food (good food)!
Lee Hanson of Hermitage, Pennsylvania. Lee’s daughter, Lisa Burke (from Mount
Vernon) nominated him. Lisa says that she loves her Dad because he has always shown his love for God and his family. He is a true example of a Christian Dad. He has a servant's heart and Lisa would love to show him her appreciation by taking him to dinner. He is awesome!
Richard Carpenter of Mount Vernon. Richard’s daughter Amanda Smith nominated him. She says that she loves her Dad for many reasons but the main reason is that HE took on the Dad duty of raising four children who were not biologically his. Amanda says that her Dad never complained once. While she was growing up, Richard was at every school function, baseball game and cheerleading practice. Now that he is retired, he gets to see his grandchildren grow into adults as he witnesses their many activities.
Our 4 winning Dads will each receive a $25.00 gift card to Parkside Restaurant and $15 in gift cards to Wendys. The winning Dads will also receive a DVD copy of the movie Unbroken – Legacy of Faith Edition from Pure Flix Entertainment, plus a copy of the NEW book “Hello My Name Is – Discover Your True Identity” by Matthew West and Worthy Publishing. Plus, the winning Dads will receive a $20 gift certificate to Gospel Christian Life Shop in downtown Mount Vernon. Make sure to get in touch with YOUR Dad this weekend. Tell him how much you love him.
Happy Father’s Day from WNZR!
